May's 14 Hour Trip

We had another successful 14 Hour Trip this month. We caught 40 Grouper and several Amberjack. Unfortunately, the Amberjack were just shy of the 30 inch size limit, so we could not keep any of them. They did, however, create some excitement with their fighting ability. Our next 14 Hour Trip is scheduled for June 6th. The 2010 Red Snapper season will be open and we are looking to head a little further offshore in search of this delicacy. We will start taking reservations for this trip on Monday June 24th. We also have our 34 Hour Trip scheduled for June 12-13 so make your reservation today. We are watching the OIL SPILL daily and as of now we are not affected by this disaster. Our trips are running as scheduled as of now. Keep an eye on our blog for the most recent details. We have some nice offshore trips coming up so I hope to see you all there. Let's Go Fishing!!

All trips have had the same with more Grouper, some catches have been up around 20 "keepers". Some fish weighing in the 12-15 pound range. We are watching the OIL SPILL daily and keeping our fingers crossed that it stays away. So far we have been lucky and our trips are running as scheduled. The 14 Hour trip is filling up, so make your reservation today and be sure to pay by 5/13 to guarantee your spot. The 34 Hour trip is filling up fast as well, make your reservation today. On last years trips, we had nearly 3,000 lbs. of fish on each trip. Stay tuned for more updates. Hope to see everyone soon!!! LET'S GO FISHING!!!

Several New Updates

Hi everyone!! I have several updates and comments for you all. First, in regards to the OIL SPILL in the northern gulf, we are not currently effected by the spill. We are keeping a close eye on the movement of the spill as it increases in size, and hope that it stays well away from us. All trips are running as scheduled with no sight of any changes in the near future. Keep an eye on our blog for further updates as needed. Fishing has been pretty decent. We have been catching several "keeper" grouper on both Half Day and All Day trips along with our usual Grunts, Sea Bass and Porgies. We have also been landing several nice king Fish on both trips. I would like you all to help me welcome back a long time employee, who took a small leave of absence from the company. Our newest Captain, Luke Palmer, has been back for a couple of weeks now and has been bringing in some nice catches on both the Half Day and All Day trips. Welcome back Luke!!! A reminder to all, we are currently taking reservations for our 14 Hour Trip on May 16th and our 34 Hour Trip on June 12th & 13th. Call today to reserve your spot on these trips. Watch the blog for further updates. Hope to see you all soon!!!
